Broncos trade disgruntled pass rusher Randy Gregory to 49ers

The Denver Broncos have traded Randy Gregory and a 2024 seventh-round pick to the San Francisco 49ers for a 2024 sixth-round pick.
Gregory signed a 5-year, $70 million contract with Denver in March but saw reduced playing time this season.
The 49ers acquired Gregory to help their struggling pass rush, while the trade allows Denver to move on from an underperforming player.
Gregory will not play against his former team, the Dallas Cowboys, on Sunday but could debut soon after joining the 49ers.
The Broncos will pay most of Gregory's 2022 salary, with the 49ers paying him the veteran minimum for the rest of the season.
