Broncos Add RB Sincere McCormick to Practice Squad, Waive OT Marques Cox

The move adds size to Denver's backfield with J.K. Dobbins sidelined.

Overview

  • The Broncos announced the signing of running back Sincere McCormick to the practice squad ahead of Week 15 after he tried out late last week.
  • Denver also added wide receiver Kyrese Rowan to the practice squad and waived offensive tackle Marques Cox in the corresponding move.
  • Under practice-squad rules, McCormick can be elevated to the active roster for up to three game days before a 53-man contract would be required.
  • McCormick entered the NFL with the Raiders as a 2022 undrafted free agent and logged 183 rushing yards on 39 carries in 2024 at 4.7 yards per attempt.
  • He spent time this season on the 49ers’ and Cardinals’ practice squads and now joins a Denver backfield led by RJ Harvey with Jaleel McLaughlin and Tyler Badie in support.
