Broadway Debut Set for 'Smash' Musical in Spring 2025

The adaptation of the NBC series will open at the Imperial Theatre with a new storyline and original cast.

Performances for 'Smash' will begin on March 11, 2025, with an official opening on April 10 at the Imperial Theatre.
The musical will feature a new story by Rick Elice and Bob Martin, retaining the premise of creating a Marilyn Monroe musical.
Robyn Hurder leads the cast as Ivy, joined by Brooks Ashmanskas, Krysta Rodriguez, and others, with direction by Susan Stroman.
Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman provide the score, including songs from the TV series and new material for the stage.
Jennifer Hudson joins the producing team, alongside original producers Robert Greenblatt, Neil Meron, and Steven Spielberg.
