Broadway Box Office for Week Ending Aug. 24: 'Mamma Mia!' Sets Best-Ever Gross as 'Hamilton' Leads

Broadway grossed $28.63 million on 239,811 tickets for the week, with the average ticket priced at $119.40.

  • Hamilton topped the week with $2,106,554, followed by Wicked ($2,007,640), The Lion King ($1,820,876), Mamma Mia! ($1,785,107) and Maybe Happy Ending ($1,436,776).
