  • Mamma Mia! set a new Broadway best for the title with $1,785,107 and sold out the Winter Garden, marking its highest single-week gross across both its original run and the current revival.
  • Hamilton led the week at $2,106,554, followed by Wicked at $2,007,640 and The Lion King at $1,820,876, with Maybe Happy Ending rounding out the top five.
  • Jeff Ross: Take A Banana For A Ride opened at the Nederlander and logged the week’s lowest gross at $115,845 with an average ticket price of $27.85 and roughly 44% capacity.
  • Call Me Izzy closed Aug. 24 with $403,002 for its final week, while Purpose reached a weekly high of $856,241 at full capacity ahead of its scheduled Aug. 31 closing.
