Overview

  • A 20-year-old man was stabbed and taken to hospital with serious injuries and is now in a stable condition.
  • Around 5pm Wednesday, witnesses reported a Kia and a Volkswagen Golf driving erratically before the Kia allegedly rammed the Golf, both vehicles crossed to the wrong side of Pascoe Vale Road, and a third car was struck near the train station.
  • Officers observed parts of the incident from the nearby Broadmeadows police station and ran to assist the injured man.
  • Two teenagers aged 15 and 17 and two men aged 23 and 24 were arrested at the scene, then released pending further enquiries as investigators work to identify who carried out the stabbing.
