• VCF 9.0 is generally available and presented as an AI‑native platform, with VMware Private AI Services included in the core subscription and staggered rollouts for some components into Broadcom’s Q1 2026.
• New developer‑facing AI services include a Model Store, a Multiaccelerator Model Runtime, GPU monitoring, an Agent Builder, a vector database, and data indexing and retrieval.
• Model Context Protocol support standardizes connections to enterprise systems such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, ServiceNow, GitHub, Slack and PostgreSQL without custom connectors.
• Broadcom expanded hardware and OS support with deployments across NVIDIA and AMD GPUs (including Blackwell B200 and Instinct MI350), Ubuntu Pro, chiseled Ubuntu containers and precompiled GPU drivers for air‑gapped environments.
• vSAN now offers native S3‑compatible object storage to unify file, block and object data for AI and recovery use cases, and VCF adds security and compliance features including vDefend automation, Advanced Cyber Compliance and zero‑trust controls for AI agents.
