Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is raising awareness about severe food allergies in young children after their 1-year-old son, Bronze, had a severe allergic reaction to peanuts.
Bronze's allergic reaction, which led to an emergency room visit, was described by Brittany as 'one of the scariest experiences of [her] life'.
Brittany has partnered with AUVI-Q, a brand of epinephrine injection used to treat severe allergic reactions in infants and toddlers, to spread awareness and educate parents on how to respond to such emergencies.
Brittany revealed that both her children, Bronze and Sterling Skye, have severe food allergies.
The incident has sparked rumors of a possible third pregnancy for Brittany, after some social media users mistook the AUVI-Q injector for a pregnancy test in a video she posted.
