Britney Spears asserts in her 2023 memoir 'The Woman in Me' that her 2004, 55-hour marriage to childhood friend Jason Alexander was due to being 'very drunk' and 'very bored', denying they were in love. Meanwhile, Alexander maintains they were 'absolutely in love' and sober.
Following the annulment of her spontaneous wedding to Alexander, Spears quickly married Kevin Federline later in 2004, with whom she had two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, before their divorce in 2007.
