Britney Spears created an Instagram post teasing a sequel to her memoir, 'The Woman In Me', but subsequently deleted this post causing speculation on the future of the sequel.
The first volume of the memoir, which reveals previously undisclosed personal events including an abortion during her relationship with ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, was met with enthusiasm from fans and is now a bestseller.
It is speculated that the sequel could potentially provide insights into Spears's relationship with her former manager, Louise Taylor, and the role she played in Spears' 13-year-long conservatorship.
'The Woman in Me' was released around the same time as her separation from her husband, Sam Asghari, but Spears chose not to make any changes to the book post-separation, portraying Asghari as a 'gift from God'.
While Spears claimed 'The Woman In Me' to be the highest-selling celebrity memoir in history, confirmation on its sales is still pending from her publisher, Simon & Schuster; she also claimed a second volume was in the works, but sources close to the singer denied this information.
