Despite Recent Rumors, Spears Dismisses Possibility of New Album, Reveals Ghostwriting Work

Britney Spears has announced that she will 'never return to the music industry', dispelling recent rumors of a new album in the works.
Spears revealed that she has been ghostwriting over the past two years, having written more than 20 songs for other artists.
Spears' last album, 'Glory', was released in 2016. Since then, she has released two singles: 'Hold Me Closer' with Elton John in 2022 and 'Mind Your Business' with Will.i.am in 2023.
Spears' announcement comes after her 13-year conservatorship ended in November 2021, giving her full control over her personal and professional life.
Despite her team reportedly preparing new music to present to her, Spears has made it clear that she has no intention of recording or releasing new music under her own name.
