Overview

• A 22-year-old British holidaymaker fell overboard from a rented boat near Nikki Beach in Magaluf at around 5 pm local time and was struck by the vessel’s propeller.
• He had been drinking heavily with friends aboard the boat before plunging into the water and suffering deep lacerations.
• Lifeguards on the beach were first on scene and were joined by Civil Guard officers and paramedics to stabilize his injuries and prevent drowning.
