The former reality star and daughter of Sarah Palin revealed her temporary facial paralysis began nine days ago and credits acupuncture for aiding her recovery.

Bristol Palin, 34, revealed on Instagram that she experienced sudden facial paralysis on the left side of her face, diagnosed as Bell’s palsy.
The condition, which caused numbness and loss of movement, developed rapidly within hours and left her unable to blink or move parts of her face.
Doctors attributed the temporary paralysis to potential stress or lack of sleep after conducting tests and prescribing steroids and other medications.
Palin reported gradual improvement after nine days and highlighted acupuncture as a treatment that significantly sped up her recovery process.
She reflected on the ordeal as a lesson in self-acceptance and expressed gratitude for regaining facial function.
