Overview

• All train movements between Hamburg Hauptbahnhof and Altona are suspended until August 4 for bridge renewal work on the Verbindungsbahn.
• Long-distance services to Berlin, Hannover, Frankfurt and southern Germany have been canceled or are now starting and ending at Hamburg Hauptbahnhof.
• Regional trains to and from Kiel and Flensburg will commence or terminate in Altona while Dammtor station remains inaccessible.
• S-Bahn lines S2 and S5 are diverted via the Citytunnel until July 29, with replacement buses serving Dammtor, Sternschanze and Holstenstraße stations.
• The DB subsidiary Infrago is renewing two bridges between the Hauptbahnhof and Dammtor as well as the Stern and Schanzen bridges on the Verbindungsbahn.
