• The trial at the Landgericht Karlsruhe’s Pforzheim branch commenced July 4 over allegations of procurement corruption involving drying cabinets for the police academy.
• Prosecutors allege Christmann and a colleague accepted more than €10,000 in kickbacks on a €170,000 contract for equipment delivered to the Hochschule für Polizei Baden-Württemberg and its Mosbach training center.
