Callahan's father, Bill, is a longtime NFL coach who coached the then-Oakland Raiders to an AFC championship by beating the Titans in January 2003.
Callahan spent the past five seasons as Cincinnati’s offensive coordinator, helping the Bengals win two AFC North titles and reach two AFC championship games.
Dan Pitcher, who has been with the Bengals for eight seasons, was announced as the team's new offensive coordinator.
