Missed NL Wild Card series and four months of 2022 season due to shoulder issues.
In 2022, had 2.28 ERA in 11 starts before injury.
Woodruff is a two-time All-Star and has 46-26 record in 130 games for Brewers.
Surgery performed by Texas Rangers' team doctor after Woodruff received second opinion.
