• All-Star closer Trevor Megill said he expects to pitch in Sunday’s finale if activated, following a one-inning simulated outing on Friday after a month-long right flexor strain layoff.
• Manager Pat Murphy noted a Sunday appearance is not required for Megill’s NLDS eligibility but would aid evaluation after his absence.
