• Murphy confirmed on Oct. 3 that he had the Brewers’ Bob Uecker memorial uniform patch tattooed on his left upper arm, unveiling it at the end of a news conference at American Family Field.
• The tattoo was done during a session at Murphy’s home by Scottsdale, Arizona-based artist Justin Gorelik, according to the manager.
• The Brewers have honored Uecker throughout 2025 with sleeve patches, plaid-patterned grass, his signature painted on the field, and an August celebration in which players wore “Ueck” jerseys.
• Murphy had told reporters in spring training he planned to get a Uecker tattoo, and he followed through as the postseason begins.
