Uecker was a beloved figure in Milwaukee, serving as the Brewers' broadcaster for 54 years and earning the Hall of Fame's Ford C. Frick Award in 2003.
Fans have paid tribute to Uecker by leaving flowers, baseballs, and memorabilia at his statue outside American Family Field.
The Brewers plan to host a public celebration of Uecker's life later this year, with details to be announced in the coming months.
