Brewers Acquire Bryan Hudson from Dodgers

Hudson, previously designated for assignment by the Dodgers, traded for Justin Chambers in exchange of left-handed pitchers.

Bryan Hudson, a left-handed pitcher, has been acquired by the Milwaukee Brewers from the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for Justin Chambers.
Hudson, 26, had a 7.27 ERA in six appearances for the Dodgers last season.
In the 2023 season, Hudson spent most of his time in the minors, achieving a 6-2 record and 2.43 ERA in 46 appearances with the Dodgers’ Triple-A Oklahoma City affiliate.
Chambers, 18, was selected by the Brewers in the 20th round of last year’s amateur draft and has yet to make his professional debut.
The Dodgers had designated Hudson for assignment to make room on their roster for Yoshinobu Yamamoto, a Japanese right-hander who signed a $325 million, 12-year contract.
