Brewers Acquire Bryan Hudson from Dodgers

Hudson, previously designated for assignment by the Dodgers, traded for Justin Chambers in exchange of left-handed pitchers.

  • In the 2023 season, Hudson spent most of his time in the minors, achieving a 6-2 record and 2.43 ERA in 46 appearances with the Dodgers’ Triple-A Oklahoma City affiliate.
  • Chambers, 18, was selected by the Brewers in the 20th round of last year’s amateur draft and has yet to make his professional debut.
  • The Dodgers had designated Hudson for assignment to make room on their roster for Yoshinobu Yamamoto, a Japanese right-hander who signed a $325 million, 12-year contract.
