Overview

• The final plenary approved a report organized into 15 thematic areas to guide the new National Plan for Policies for Women.
• Delegates also passed 33 motions with 98% support after a nationwide cycle of municipal and state debates.
• The Ministry of Women launched DataMulheres, integrating data from Justice and Public Security, Labour, Health, IBGE and the TSE to inform evidence-based decisions.
• A public notice allocates R$ 10 million for vehicle donations to municipalities of up to 100,000 residents that maintain women’s policy bodies and rights councils.
• The ministry issued a management-strengthening portaria and signed three cooperation agreements: with Correios on anti-violence outreach, with the Labour Ministry on training for women victims of violence, and with Justice, CNMP, PGE, CNJ and DPU to address political violence against women.
