  • The residual batch covers 214,310 refunds totaling about R$ 494.09 million for IRPF 2025 (tax year 2024) and previous years.
  • Roughly R$ 296.95 million goes to priority taxpayers, including seniors, people with disabilities or serious illness, and education professionals, with additional preference for those using the pre-filled return or Pix.
  • Taxpayers can check eligibility via the Receita Federal site under Meu Imposto de Renda or the mobile app, and view the full processing extract in e-CAC to identify and correct any pending issues.
  • If the credit cannot be deposited, the amount remains available at Banco do Brasil for up to one year, with rescheduling via the BB portal or a later request through e-CAC.
  • The agency reports 3.97 million returns were retained for verification this year, and it has published regional breakdowns of the November residual batch, such as R$ 23.8 million in Santa Catarina and R$ 8.66 million in the Vale do Paraíba region.
