Brazil's IGP-DI Rises 0.36% in September as Power Bills Jump

  • Producer prices (IPA) rose 0.30%, driven by key commodities led by coffee, corn and beef, according to FGV Ibre.
  • Construction costs (INCC) slowed to 0.17% from 0.52% in August, with materials, services and labor all decelerating.
  • Within the IPC, Housing climbed to 2.13% and Education, Reading and Recreation reached 2.00%, while Health and Personal Care and Apparel softened.
