Brazilian Taste Recalls 4,120 Pounds of Saint Coxinha Croquettes Over Undeclared Sesame

FDA testing tied the problem to sesame in shared breadcrumb ingredients.

Brazilian Taste has recalled 4,120 pounds of chicken and beef croquettes because they include sesame, an allergen, that is not listed on the label.

Overview

  • FSIS says the frozen chicken and beef croquettes were misbranded because sesame was not declared on the label.
  • Products were shipped to retailers in CT, GA, MA, NC, SC, and TX and were sold nationwide through online orders.
  • Chicken items were produced from March 4 to Aug. 19, 2025, and beef items were produced on June 2, 2025.
  • Affected packages bear the USDA establishment number P-45640 or Est. 45640 and include specified sizes with best-by dates into 2026.
  • No adverse reactions have been confirmed, and consumers are urged to discard or return the products and may contact Brazilian Taste manager Barbara Bueno or the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline for guidance.
