- In Natal, the merchants' chamber set special hours from Dec. 21–24 and confirmed street commerce, supermarkets and shopping centers will be closed on Dec. 25.
- Salvador shopping centers will keep stores shut on Dec. 25, with most food courts and leisure areas operating around 12 pm–9 pm and cinemas following their posted schedules.
- Maceió’s main malls extended operations through Dec. 23, close earlier on Dec. 24, and on Dec. 25 open only food courts, cinemas and leisure areas from roughly 12 pm–9 pm while stores remain closed.
