  • Codefat meets on Dec. 16 to define the dates, after which the Labor Ministry will publish the 2026 schedule and identify the number of beneficiaries.
  • Payments in 2026 will cover the 2024 base year, with the benefit calculated at 1/12 of the minimum wage for each full month worked.
  • The income ceiling for eligibility has not been finalized, but reports estimate a cutoff near R$ 2,900 based on inflation indexing of the 2023 two–minimum wage reference.
  • The maximum benefit next year is expected to match the projected minimum wage of R$ 1,631, with amounts scaled to months worked.
  • Workers entitled in 2025 must withdraw by Dec. 27 through Caixa for PIS or Banco do Brasil for Pasep, including via Caixa Tem and official banking apps.
