Overview
- The 15th Festival Internacional de Teatro Infantil do Ceará (TIC) opened in Fortaleza on Oct. 9 and will present 40 free performances across Fortaleza, Quixeramobim, Maracanaú and São Gonçalo do Amarante through Oct. 20.
- TIC shows include accessibility services such as Libras interpretation and audio description and will offer school sessions and public plaza events to reach children beyond city centers.
- Fortaleza venues including the Museu da Imagem e do Som (MIS), Pinacoteca do Ceará and Centro Dragão do Mar are running workshops, concerts and an immersive TIC piece with limited free tickets available via Sympla for the MIS sessions on Oct. 11.
- In São Paulo the Kidzhouse program will turn the Roda Rico at Parque Villa-Lobos into a three-day family event with free activities and paid Ferris-wheel rides with costumed characters from Oct. 10–12.
- Rio hosts multiple family offerings such as the Festival Crescer, EcoVilla Ri Happy and a free Dia das Crianças lineup at the CCBB on Oct. 12, reflecting growing collaboration between public cultural centers and private producers to extend year-round family programming.
