Overview

  • Payment for October work must be made by Thursday, November 6, 2025, in line with Article 459 of the CLT.
  • For November 2025, the first five business days are Nov 1 (Sat), Nov 3 (Mon), Nov 4 (Tue), Nov 5 (Wed), and Nov 6 (Thu).
  • The All Souls' Day holiday on November 2 falls on a Sunday, so it does not change the business-day count.
  • Failure to pay by the deadline constitutes salary delay, triggers monetary correction from the 1st, and recurrent delays can justify indirect termination by the worker.
  • Workers may sue for amounts due, unions can bring civil actions, the Labor Ministry can fine employers R$ 176.03 per affected employee, and the Labor Prosecutor's Office may open investigations.
