  • Official digital services — the Autoatendimento Eleitoral portal, the e‑Título app and the TSE “Onde votar” tool — are available for voters to check registration, recover their voter number and locate their polling place ahead of the Oct. 4 election.
  • The e‑Título app is valid as identification only when the voter’s registration includes a photo and the app displays that photo on screen at the polling place.
  • Accepted photo IDs at the polls include the physical voter card, RG, CNH, passport, carteira de trabalho and the Carteira de Identidade Social for trans and travestis, and all must show a clear photo.
  • The vote‑in‑transit window closed on August 20 for most areas, so voters away from their electoral domicile on election day cannot vote in a different municipality but can submit a justification within 60 days after the election.
  • Voting runs from 8:00 to 17:00 Brasília time, the ballot displays offices in a fixed order with set digit lengths for each post, and failure to vote without justification can bring a small fine and, after repeated absences or nonpayment, cancellation of the voter registration.
