- The MDS released the full 2026 schedule with January payments staggered by final NIS digit: 1 on Jan 19, 2 on Jan 20, 3 on Jan 21, 4 on Jan 22, 5 on Jan 23, 6 on Jan 26, 7 on Jan 27, 8 on Jan 28, 9 on Jan 29, and 0 on Jan 30.
- Transfers throughout 2026 follow the established model of staggered releases by NIS across the final business days of each month.
- The program keeps a minimum R$600 per family, with add-ons of R$150 for each child up to 6 and R$50 for ages 7–18, pregnant women, and nursing mothers.
- About 18.7 million families, covering 48.92 million people, receive Bolsa Família, and monthly federal disbursements are around R$12.7 billion.
- Beneficiaries can manage funds via the Caixa Tem app and withdraw at ATMs, lottery outlets, and banking correspondents, while noncompliance with school attendance, vaccinations, or prenatal care can lead to a block, suspension, or cancellation.
