Brazil Posts Test Sites for First National Teacher Exam With 1.09 Million Set for Oct. 26

Overview

  • Inep released confirmation cards in the PND system showing each candidate’s test location, schedule, registration number, and any approved accommodations, and it recommends bringing the card on exam day.
  • The exam will run on October 26 from 13:30 to 19:00 Brasília time with gates open from 12:00 to 13:00, and it will be administered in 750 municipalities nationwide.
  • Registrations total 1,086,914, with 51.58% in Pedagogy (about 560,576 candidates), and São Paulo leads by state with 253,895 confirmed participants.
  • PND results will be used as an admission step by 1,508 municipalities in 22 states, and the assessment is not a public concurso but an evaluation tool for networks that opt in.
  • Preliminary answer keys are due October 28 with appeals to follow, final results are scheduled for December 10, and Inep’s president says scores may be used in selection processes for up to three years.
