Brazil Oil and Gas Output Reaches 4.921 Million boe/d in November, Down Month to Month but Up Year Over Year

Overview

• Oil production totaled 3.773 million bpd, falling 6.4% from October and rising 13.9% from November 2024, ANP reported.
• Natural gas output reached 182.57 million m³/d, down 6.3% month over month and up 15.7% year over year.
• Pre-salt volumes were 3.913 million boe/d, equal to 79.6% of national production, with an 8.5% monthly decline and 15.6% annual growth.
• Gas utilization hit 96.9%, with 61.87 million m³/d sent to market and 5.71 million m³/d flared, a 5.0% increase from October and an 8.1% decrease versus a year earlier.
• Offshore fields provided 97.7% of oil and 85.7% of gas, with Búzios leading oil at 744.30 thousand bpd and Mero leading gas at 40.80 million m³/d.
