Brazil Motorcycle Industry Raises 2025 Targets to 1.95 Million Produced and 2.1 Million Sold

Stronger appetite for low‑displacement delivery bikes is driving the upgrade.

  • Abraciclo lifted its 2025 outlook to 1.95 million motorcycles produced (+11.5%) and 2.1 million retail registrations (+11.9%), keeping exports projected at 35,000 units.
  • From January to September, factories in the Manaus industrial hub built 1,496,169 motorcycles, the best nine‑month total in 14 years and up 13.1% year over year.
  • September output reached 169,206 units, a 17.4% annual increase that still marked about a 9% decline versus August.
  • Retail registrations totaled 1,614,191 in the first nine months (+14.4% year over year), with September alone at 205,918 motorcycles (+31.5% versus a year earlier).
  • Exports also accelerated, reaching 29,490 year to date (+23.6%) and 5,258 in September (+208.7% year on year), while low‑displacement models comprised 79.4% of September output.
