Brazil Meat Exports Rebound With Record Beef and Pork, Chicken at 2025 High

• Brazil exported 314.7 thousand tonnes of fresh beef in September, a monthly record and up 25.1% year on year, according to Secex.
• Chicken shipments reached 482.3 thousand tonnes, the strongest month of 2025, while revenue fell 10.1% to US$857.9 million.
• South Africa ranked as the top monthly buyer of Brazilian chicken for the first time, taking 38.7 thousand tonnes as flows broadened across destinations.
• Pork exports hit a record 151.6 thousand tonnes with revenue up 29.9% to US$368.4 million, supported by demand from the Philippines, Japan, Vietnam and Mexico.
• Despite a 76.4% U.S. tariff on Brazilian beef in August, exporters sustained sales by redirecting higher-value cuts to the U.S. and increasing volumes to Mexico and China, industry groups said.
