Brazil Launches Dual November Debt-Negotiation Drives With Discounts Up to 99% Through Nov. 30

Record delinquency spurs large offers with easy access through digital channels or free service at more than 7,000 post offices.

Overview

  • Serasa’s 34th Feirão Limpa Nome runs Nov. 3–30 offering discounts of up to 99% and installment plans starting at R$ 9.90, with some deals clearing names immediately via Pix depending on creditor rules.
  • More than 1,600 companies across retail, telecom, utilities and finance put roughly 633 million debts on the table for negotiation nationwide.
  • Consumers can negotiate via Serasa’s website, app or official WhatsApp, or in person for free at Correios branches by presenting a photo ID.
  • A separate Febraban-led mutirão runs through Nov. 30 to renegotiate overdue bank debts without collateral, excluding vehicle and mortgage financings, via banks’ channels or Consumidor.gov.br for Gov.br Prata or Ouro users.
  • Serasa, Correios and partners held targeted financial-education sessions in select agencies on Nov. 3–4 to guide budgeting and prevent re‑indebtedness as Brazil counts about 79–80 million people in arrears.
