- Authorities issued targeted alerts as storms expanded north and east, including landslide sirens in Petrópolis and hail and wind damage in Governador Valadares and the Vale do Aço, with forecasts highlighting heavier rain across northern Espírito Santo, eastern and northern Minas and southern and western Bahia.
