Overview

• The Health Ministry’s latest tally lists 32 confirmed cases nationwide, with 28 in São Paulo, three in Paraná and one in Rio Grande do Sul, and five deaths confirmed in São Paulo while 181 suspected cases remain under investigation.

• Federal authorities imported 2,500 doses of fomepizol for distribution, authorized injectable ethanol production, and expanded reference testing through CIATox/Unicamp and Fiocruz to accelerate confirmations and clinical decision-making.
