• Adam Scherr, known in WWE as Braun Strowman, told Collider he wants the role and said there "may be some talks" with his agency about portraying Jason Voorhees.
• Scherr indicated he would shave his beard for the part and shared an AI image of himself as Jason on social media to tease the possibility.
• No official casting has been announced, and it remains unclear which project the talks could involve or when a feature film might move forward.
• The franchise is expanding with a confirmed new Greg Nicotero–led design for Jason, the Sweet Revenge short, and A24/Peacock’s Crystal Lake prequel series starring Linda Cardellini as Pamela Voorhees.
