Brandenburger Inklusionspreis 2025 Goes to Three Community Initiatives

The annual prize spotlights small-scale efforts in everyday environments to remove barriers for people with disabilities.

Overview

  • Social Minister Britta Müller presented the Brandenburger Inklusionspreis 2025 to three projects selected from about 40 applicants.
  • First prize of €5,000 went to Verein Einzelfallhilfe-Manufaktur e. V. for its two-day Akzeptanzfestival in Potsdam, which offers inclusive community encounters.
  • Second place and €3,000 were awarded to the Museumsverband des Landes Brandenburg for its ‘Brandenburgische Museen ohne Barrieren’ initiative that has been reducing museum access barriers since 2018.
  • The Haus der Möglichkeiten project in Wandlitz earned third place and a €2,000 prize for programs like ‘Bürger helfen Bürgern’ that foster mutual support among people with and without disabilities.
  • The prize underscores Brandenburg’s strategy of recognizing and replicating small-scale municipal and civic engagement to advance inclusion in everyday life.
