Brandenburg Police Launch Regional Speed Enforcement Campaign Targeting Motorcycles

The Brandenburg police have initiated a large-scale speed enforcement operation, initially focusing on motorcycles over the weekend.
This effort is part of a broader Europe-wide campaign aimed at improving road safety and reducing speeding violations.
Control stations have been set up across Brandenburg, including in Ostprignitz-Ruppin and Landkreis Prignitz, as part of the monitoring effort.
Plans are in place to expand the operation to include car traffic later in the week, reflecting a phased approach.
Last year’s similar campaign recorded over 2,000 speeding violations in 24 hours, with 286 officers monitoring 131 locations.
