Brainbees Narrows First-Quarter Loss as Topline Grows, Profitability Contracts

Ebitda fell 33% to Rs 33.10 crore, pushing the margin down to 1.8% as total expenses climbed 14% on higher inventory and raw material costs.
GlobalBees posted a 31% revenue increase to Rs 426.4 crore and a marginally wider loss of Rs 20.8 crore, with Brainbees investing an additional Rs 19.96 crore.
Shares settled at Rs 374.90 on the NSE, down 0.07% for the session and about 45% lower than a year ago despite bullish analyst targets.
