Brady Oliveira Wins CFL's Top Player and Canadian Honors

Winnipeg's Oliveira leads Blue Bombers into Grey Cup after sweeping major CFL awards.

Brady Oliveira of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers has been named both the CFL's Most Outstanding Player and Top Canadian, marking the first time in 11 years a running back has achieved this feat.
Oliveira, who led the league with 1,353 rushing yards and 1,829 yards from scrimmage, joins a select group of players who have won both awards in the same season.
The Blue Bombers will face the Toronto Argonauts in the Grey Cup, aiming for their third title in five years.
Other CFL award winners include Saskatchewan’s Rolan Milligan Jr. as top defensive player and Montreal's Jason Maas as coach of the year.
Winnipeg linebacker Adam Bighill was honored with the Tom Pate Memorial Award for his community contributions despite being sidelined by injury.
