Bradley Ibrahim signs four-year deal with Plymouth Argyle after Hertha departure

Struggling to break into Hertha’s first team, the former Arsenal youth product aims to reignite his career closer to home.

Overview

  • He joined Plymouth Argyle FC on a four-year contract after Hertha BSC confirmed he would not return from his loan at Crawley Town.
  • The 20-year-old midfielder made 37 appearances across all competitions during his season-long spell at Crawley but managed only 12 U23 outings and one senior squad inclusion in Berlin.
  • Hertha sport director Benjamin Weber praised Ibrahim’s performances in England and said the move fulfilled the player’s wish to settle back in his native country.
  • Plymouth Argyle, relegated from the Championship last season, secured the signing without disclosing any transfer fee.
  • Ibrahim originally moved to Hertha from Arsenal London’s U21 side in February 2024 but never established himself in Germany’s second tier.
