Brad Stevens, president of basketball operations for the Boston Celtics, was named NBA Executive of the Year.
Stevens led the Celtics to a league-best 64 wins, their highest since the 2007-08 season, through key acquisitions like Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis.
The award, voted on by NBA executives, saw Stevens receive 16 of 29 first-place votes, significantly outpacing other candidates.
Stevens’ strategic moves included trading Marcus Smart and acquiring Porzingis in a three-team deal, boosting the team’s performance.
This marks Stevens' first Executive of the Year award since transitioning from head coach to front office in 2021.
