Overview
- Online registration runs through September 26 on bpsc.bihar.gov.in after one-time registration on the portal.
- The selection comprises three objective papers of 100 marks and two hours each, with Paper 1 (English and Hindi) requiring at least 30% in both languages and one-third negative marking; the final merit list is based on written marks after document verification.
- Eligibility requires a bachelor’s degree; age as of August 1, 2025 is 21–37 years for unreserved men, up to 40 for BC/EBC and unreserved women, and 42 for SC/ST candidates.
- Vacancies are allotted as UR 374, EWS 131, SC 150, ST 10, EBC 168, BC 112, BCW 90, with 319 posts reserved for women across categories.
- The application fee is ₹100 per candidate, or ₹200 for biometric charges if Aadhaar is not provided, and the post carries Level-5 pay with a basic of ₹29,200 subject to state revisions.
