Boygenius Releases Charity Single 'The Parting Glass' in Tribute to Sinéad O'Connor

The cover, done in collaboration with Ye Vagabonds, will benefit the Aisling Project, a Dublin-based charity chosen by O'Connor's estate.

Indie supergroup boygenius, consisting of Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker, released a cover of 'The Parting Glass' as a tribute to late Irish singer-songwriter Sinéad O'Connor.
The cover was done in collaboration with Irish folk duo Ye Vagabonds and is part of Bridgers' annual holiday charity single series.
All proceeds from the single will be donated to the Aisling Project, a Dublin-based charity providing after-school intervention to disadvantaged youth, chosen by O'Connor's estate.
The song 'The Parting Glass' is a traditional Irish and Scottish song that O'Connor herself covered in 2002.
The release of the tribute single follows a successful year for boygenius, which saw the release of their full-length debut album and six Grammy nominations.
