• Kylee Monteiro, 18 and pregnant, has been missing since Aug. 7 after she was last seen near County Street in Rehoboth, Massachusetts.
• Gregory Groom, 22, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault and battery on a pregnant person, domestic assault and battery, and intimidation of a witness.
• Prosecutors say the charges stem from an incident reported the day before Monteiro vanished.
• State and local police have renewed searches of woods and waterways, including the Warren Upper Reservoir, using K-9 units, drones and dive teams, and officers were seen collecting evidence bags without details disclosed.
• Groom is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Taunton, as Monteiro’s family plans a Aug. 23 candlelight vigil and continues public appeals for information.
