Boxing Australia Head Coach Jamie Pittman Suspended for Sexual Misconduct

Jamie Pittman has withdrawn from the Paris Olympics and received a six-month suspension after admitting to sexual misconduct involving female athletes.

Jamie Pittman admitted to multiple instances of sexual misconduct, including inappropriate comments and lewd acts towards female athletes.
The National Sports Tribunal described the misconduct as 'disgusting' and 'offensive', leading to a six-month suspension backdated to November last year.
Pittman has also stepped down from the Australian Olympic Committee’s Indigenous Advisory Committee and other positions.
He is required to complete a training course on anti-discrimination and anti-sexual misconduct within 60 days.
The incidents occurred during two separate team camps between July and October of the previous year.
