Boxer Jermell Charlo Arrested on Misdemeanor Assault Charge

Charlo's wife files for restraining order and divorce following the arrest

Boxer Jermell Charlo was arrested in Texas and charged with misdemeanor assault causing bodily injury to a family member.
Charlo, 33, was released after bond was posted Monday.
Charlo's wife, Chyane Westbrook, filed for a temporary restraining order along with a divorce from Charlo.
In May 2018, Charlo was charged with felony domestic violence but was acquitted the following year.
Charlo recently lost a match against Canelo Alvarez for the undisputed super middleweight championship.
